Our Company
Connecting local money to global digital assets
We believe accessing the Web3 economy should be as easy as sending a text. By building the missing infrastructure for emerging markets, we are removing the complex barriers of traditional crypto exchanges.

Local money in.
Tokens out.
Instant settlement.
Born in the NSE Innovation Lab
Orionramp was founded by a team of five engineers with deep experience in African financial systems and Web3 technology. Our journey began inside the prestigious NSE x Hedera Incubator Programme.
We realized that many blockchain applications assume users already have funded crypto wallets. In African markets, this assumption is a massive barrier to adoption. Acquiring crypto is often slow, complex, and intimidating for the average consumer.
We built Orionramp to fix this. By abstracting away the complexity of crypto acquisition, we allow users to interact with Decentralized Applications (DApps) using familiar payment methods like M-Pesa, while developers receive their desired tokens instantly on the Hedera network.
Ecosystem & Partnerships
We operate as an independent financial infrastructure platform, strategically aligned with Hedera's expansion objectives in emerging markets.
Cradle
Focused on the on-chain tokenization of Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) shares on Hedera. Cradle integrates with Orionramp to handle all their fiat-to-token conversions seamlessly.
View PartnerNBX

Scaling across Africa.
Orionramp is currently operating with a working MVP and three secured B2B integrations. We are targeting aggressive scaling, with a goal of onboarding 5 fully integrated DApps and 1,000 verified end-users by late 2026.
To catalyze this growth, expand our regulatory footprint (Money Transmitter licenses), and push our marketing initiatives, Orionramp is targeting an equity funding round of $100,000 by late 2026.
This investment will enable us to expand beyond Kenya into Nigeria and South Africa, integrating additional payment channels and establishing Orionramp as the undisputed fiat utility layer for the African Web3 ecosystem.
